She was born in Ankara in 1974. She completed her high school education at TED Ankara College and her undergraduate education at Bilkent University, Department of Business Administration. After 8 years of experience in marketing at Koç Group and Eczacıbaşı Holding, she completed her Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance at Bilkent University.

In her professional life, she worked as a manager in the private sector, especially in marketing and logistics functions; she gained extensive experience in logistics and sales support at Boston Scientific, one of the world leaders in the medical device industry. In the next stage of her career, she blended her total quality management and innovation management training with her finance background and continued her work in a multinational company operating in the mining sector. She is a native speaker of English and has translated eight books into Turkish.
